Among men diagnosed with prostate cancer—especially the growing number of younger men with the disease—maintaining sexual health is an important and achievable goal, he says. {partial transcript} I’m happy to introduce Dr. Mulhall tonight. He is a board-certified urologist and micro-surgeon who specializes in sexual and reproductive medicine and surgery. As part of Memorial Sloan Kettering Survivorship Initiative, Dr. Mulhall was involved in establishing a male sexual health and reproductive medicine program which is devoted entirely to the care of men who have suffered sexual difficulties or fertility problems as a result of their cancer or cancer treatment. Dr. Mulhall received his medical degree from the University College of Dublin and did his residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Also, he completed his fellowship at the Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Mulhall’s clinical expertise is in erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, disorders of ejaculation and orgasm, low testosterone levels and male infertility.
